Just picked up a 2012 Reg Cab 5spd 2wd truck with a small lift (not sure how much, but the tires don't rub at all) and new 31" Pro Comp mud terrain tires. 12,000 miles on the odometer. I am seeing a consistent 18.5 mpg with mostly city driving and a light foot. This MPG figure IS adjusted 10% for the larger tires. I assume this is about right for running 31" tires? I plan on going down to 30" all terrains and or a narrower tire when these wear out, so I am hoping that with help bump up 1-2 mpgs? Your thoughts?

Not looking for high MPG. Can't stand Priuses anyways! Ugly as hell... 31" mud tires are overkill in my opinion, so was curious if I would see a little bump in MPGs going down to 30" ATs in my poser 4x4... hehe

HAHA the narrower portion would help out alot more than the height aspect within reason.
