2012 Regular Cab 4WD 5 Speed Manual - SCORE

I hope you know I'll be leaning on you to learn everything I can about my truck.

I'll get that O2 sensor changed tonight and hopefully that knocks out the CEL (50/50 I figure). My next step is going to be touching up the paint on the frame in a few spots and then hitting it with something to inhibit rust. This frame looks so much better than what I was seeing on trucks from Indiana that have seen salt. I want to make sure I keep it looking as good. I did a little research and think I've decided on LPS3 vs Fluid Film. If anyone thinks that's a big mistake, let me know.

I have used fluid film on the frame on my old mustang....and it works great. The only thing putting me off is the smell. I thought I might just try LPS 3 this time and see how it goes. If I hate it I can use fluid film next time.

I love my regular cab 2.7 liter 5 speed truck. I wasn't even looking for another truck but when this popped up I pounced on it. Dealer just took it in on trade and it wasn't even listed on their inventory yet.

 

No they don't make the reg cabs in V6. I think 2013 was the last year they were made?
