damn. months later, i still think this has to be one of the sexiest mods on all of tacomaworld and that's saying A LOT, haha. how have the halos held up? i always loved the look but heard the life of the halos were hit or miss which has really been the only reason keeping me from pulling the trigger. thanks OP! also, does LEDconcepts only do work in louisiana?

Thanks man. Some people on here like them some don't and to each their own. The LED halos have held up great along with the license plate, reverse, parking, running and interior LEDs I got from him. Plus there is a warranty on them. If you want him to do the complete install then yes it would have to be here in louisiana but he can buy a new set of headlights and do everything to them and ship them to you and you would just have to wire them up which is fairly easy. If you check the Facebook page he has another Tacoma on there and I think he just did the BHLM and projector retrofit that looks super clean.

Do the wheels tires and suspension add to the sexiness of the halos?:taco:

Interesting lighting set-up, certainly unique. Question for the OP: I understand the halos were painted and was curious how they have held up? Oracle stated to me that there have been "some" problems with painting them though not always  Considering these and wondered if you'd do anything differently now that you've had them for awhile?

Wish you had of done a DIY-type post, and showed us how you mounted the halo's & the before/after of the painted housing ring.

But they do look good, just not sure on the whole "multi-color-change-chameleon-strobe-flashing halos" thing.

Just the option to switch the color (white, red, or blue) might be OK.

    ;)

Red, blue, and flashing/strobing is going to attract the wrong kind of attention from people who have the power to ruin your weekend.

White and amber are the only legal colors.

White and amber might be the only legal colors while driving but when my truck is parked anything goes. The halos have held up fine and I did do a half ass write up on the retro/halo install with a few pics.
