I bought a 2012 DCSB with a Toyota roof rack in November, 2011.

Yesterday, I finally went to "try out" my roof rack, and found that the top of the Shark Fin satellite radio antenna is higher than than the rear crossmember of the roof rack. It looked to me like anything I sat up there would be on the antenna rather than the crossmemeber.

Is this normal? Or did the dealership put on an older model roof rack because the 2012's had just come out? (I also ordered the all-weather mats when I bought the truck, and the ones they gave me say "Toyota" but don't match up with the factory retaining clips in the carpet -- which makes me assume that they're not the correct year model mats, either.)

Anyway, I did a search and couldn't find anyone with a similar problem. If anyone with a 2012 DCSB and the Toyota roof rack could check out their antenna clearance for me, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

I have the same truck with the OEM rack and shark fin. When the rails are not in the stowed position, the fin is a little bit higher, but it does not cause me any grief. Anything I'd put up there would be on either side of the fin. The roof rack is the same from 05-12.

Regarding the mats, the clip system is all new for '12. You probably got the wrong mats. I've got the all weather mats but I swapped them for Weathertech's as soon as they became available. I've still got the all weather's in my garage.
