I am dying to see what the damage looks like. But I give out free advice and opinions without expecting to be compensated in any way. I'm sure having a major problem like this involving insurance companies and dealerships has put him behind in other areas of life.

I know I want to find out the actual problem...

Plus, a 2012 already broken down? I figured it had to be manufacturer defect or some such thing. Hot topic to say the least... :anonymous:

What's abnormal about a rock hitting the radiator of a 2012 or that of any other particular model year? As far as I know, rocks don't discriminate in favor of older trucks over newer ones. Given that, I see no real reason for speculation or rumors about a manufacturer defect.

I question a rock hitting the radiator. The probability of that happening (getting past the grille, AC system, etc...) is really unlikely. Plus, there's a skid on the bottom. How the fawk did this even happen!?!?

Read the thread, it really seems unlikely the dealership is being honest with him.

It's not that rocks discriminate, but damn. The chances of a rock making it past ALL of that and STILL going thru the rad core seems suspect. Unless you're saying this is a frequent occurrence?!?!

No money, all went to truck...

Haha, wizzard, I think at this point the OP has opened himself up to justified criticism.

As for the amount of views, I think its high because people want to help and also want to see the results of the problems. But I'm beginning to smell douchbagary...

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
That's true; the A/C condenser is in front of the rad. Something isn't right.
