2012 sluggish after oil change

    The alternator voltage is regulated by the ECU. Unless the alternator is failing there will be no harm. The modules are usually designed to run to run off varying voltage. I believe they can be rated to 18v, perhaps even up to 24v. Unless the full wave rectifier is failing and AC is making its way into the system, everything is pretty well protected. In fact that’s one helpful thing a battery does perform is helping to eliminate pulsating DC currents/AC currents.

    Wow baking soda works awesome. Thanks for the tip. Waiting for the sealant\gasket maker to cure on the roof rack while it rains all this week. Hopefully runs better. It was starting to run better but not like it was before I removed the cables.

    Alternator voltage is regulated by the Voltage Regulator Circuit inside the alternator... Just for accuracy.
