2012 stock tacoma radio

    3" lift' hood scoop
    i have a 2012 tacoma regular cab the stock radio has a fader for the rear speakers. there is no speaker wires runing to the back for the speakers.is there a jack on the back of the radio for the rear speakers? if so were can i find the jack to fit the radio?

    I don't know enough about the specific hardware to make a definitive answer, but I highly doubt there's a "jack". Most likely there are rear speaker outs in the wiring harness connector, which if the RC doesn't have rear speakers, just simply has nothing connected to them.

    In other words, there should be a bundle of wires that plug into the stereo with a pin connector of some kind. *If* you had rear speakers, the input wires for those speakers would be a part of that wire bundle.

    As far as wiring your own rear speakers to use that connection, I can't really comment on how easy or hard that would be to do without looking at it.
