So my 2012 taco w 195k on the clock seemed to have lost a little coolant. I added maybe 1/3 gallon to top it off. I had it flushed last summer and never really paid attention until my heat started acting up(blowing cool air until I started driving, I live in the mts of colorado so cold) I did notice some pink residue on the passenger side engine well below tstat and water pump which I cleaned up and will monitor. The truck is running normal temp and maybe Im just being paranoid?? My local mechanic says he never replaces these so maybe something goofy happened and it wept a bunch of fluid? This truck has been uber reliable and I need it to last another 10 yrs haha. Thoughts??

Get under it with a mirror and flashlight and look. Water pumps leak all the time.
