Anyone know what may cause very sluggish acceleration? I have no check engine light and truck seems to run and idle fine. Only issue being that it has little acceleration and tops out at about 80 mph.

Checked your air filter? Bad gas? Checked for pending codes with a scanner?

Catalytic converter could be plugged up. Would think a code would be thrown though.

My guess: Secondary air injection pump issue/failure. Common problem in 2012s (my 2012 also had that same issue). Take it to a dealership, theres a TSB for it and should fix it for free (assuming you're under 150k mileage).

Spark plugs made a huge difference in mine.

If the tires are much over 1" taller than stock without re-gearing I think that is going to be your problem.

Just guessing but cleaning MAF sensor, changing spark plugs, new air filter are possible fixes and pretty cheap/easy things to rule out.

If this was the case, it would be in limp mode and wouldn't ever get to 80 mph.

We need to know more about your truck, location, where you are driving it. The more specific you can be on everything, the more we can help you.
