What in your opinion would be the best cruise control kit to install on my truck?

Lots of guys have used the Rostra kit.
I know @PennSilverTaco added cruise to his truck. Maybe he can say what brand he used?

I have Rostra, but the control stalk broke and I went with an OEM stalk I had lying around...

OEM! if your truck is prewired its a tiny harness and the switch is all you need. Unless you're MT, then you need a clutch switch too

Actually the control stalk didn't really break; I believe it was defective from the factory. It would work perfectly sometimes, and then the little green "CRUISE" light would turn on but the CC wouldn't engage; I had my mechanic swap out the Rostra switch for the OEM one I'd bought thinking it would be any easy process, and it's worked fine ever since.

    Just a PSA...

Do not use H&R Radio in Warminster, PA if you live in the Philly area. Those liars broke two very expensive parts (clockspring and wheel position sensor), broke my foglight switch, and did not put a few interior trim pieces back correctly. They told me that I would have to bring the truck to the dealer to get it programmed; I did this, and a diagnostic scan revealed the aforementioned parts were broken. My dad and I went back to H&R, and the owner bitched out the guy who did the install (we didn't see it, but we could hear it). The guy of course denied it, and I'd stupidly mentioned that my mechanic had made an attempt at installing cruise control months earlier. They used this against me, and the owner refused to cover about $700 in parts and labor.

My dad felt so bad that he paid for it, and now I nuke H&R on social media whenever I get the chance! :luvya:
