    I have a 2007 and plan on doing the front end swap and plan on runnin the fab fours vengeance front bumper well I’d been reading around on this front end swap and I’ve read where you don’t need the 3 piece brace that’s under the headlights and grille for a aftermarket bumper but how will the headlight/bumper filler, mount to if you remove that brace?

    Pretty much need those pieces unless you fab brackets to monut clips to mount headlight mount and filler mount clips to your old brace.

    You DO NEED the 3 piece support frame to accommodate from pre '11 Also the hood latch/lock is slightly different . Headlight filler piece will have to be modded to fit...see build thread for my solution.

    Ok so finally got my hood and basically finished the conversion minus the filler piece below the headlight which I do have just need a few mounting pieces. My issue is I have a decent gap between the grill and the hood. I adjusted the hood, but to no prevail.     How is the bottom secured .I know with stock bumper is secures into bumper . Can you pull bottom of grill forward more, than maybe gap at top closes ?

    I just did swap. Only issue I have is with the fog lights. Got new bulbs but the plug doesn't match and doesn't want to plug in. Do the plugs need to be replaced

    Yea . They sell the connectors . Been awhile . Forgot what plugs I brought . Just get the one for 2012 up to 2015 .

    I think the 2012 up tacoma uses the H11 bulbs . Try taking bulb down to your local auto parts store and and matching with the H11 bulb conector .

    Just a matter of remove and replace . 2 to 3 hours easy . Only needed help putting on hood .

    In pic # 1is were bumper filler snaps into #2 is bottom of headlite mount and white plastic clip by #1 is bumper cover slides into .
