SORRY FOR THE THREAD JACK. i think i got my question answered. thanks for the info.

om topic: to my understanding, because this IS the tires size im going to get once i get my wheels in, i read numerous posts that 275/70/17 does clear with the 3" lift, if anything might have to just take off flaps, no trimming. 285/70/17 is where it starts to get sketch.

hahaha me too...im goin cross eyed, in my opinion, i think that i will go with the 285/65r18 tires...according to calculator they are same as 285/75 16, 275/70 17, which both these are 33x12.50 ISH tires...ISH being give or take a little bit on height...like .something, and width lil over inch or right inch narrower...thats what ive fount

sounds like a plan. you just picked the sizeamd gonna go for it. same for me, i just picked the size and am just gonna do it. there are soooo many variables, that two trucks could have they exact same stuff but one ends up having to trim and one just barely clears, its that ridiclous LOL.

haint it, im sure on stock wheels in 17's or 16's youd rubb and have to have wheels spacers but with after market wheels they are off sets back spacing, all kinds variations
