Just got mine on Friday. Absolutely love it! The Entune system sounds AMAZING and I love the interface. The only app I'll end up using is Pandora but damn is it slick.

    Specs:
2012 TRD Off-Road, 4x4, Tow pkg, Entune, Roof rack, Tube steps, TRD cat-back exhaust, and leather heated seats.

Old on left, New on right

Dealer installed option just about anywhere. They all have a local upholsterer they use for non-factory leather packages.

    I officially hate you... :D

Looking at getting a very similar truck. Only difference, I'll be getting a long bed.

Anyone know if there's someone out there who makes grille guards for the 2012's or if the one for 05-11 will fit?

My old frontier's interior light could flip down and aim out the sliding window and into the bed. Is there an aftermarket option for this feature?

Has anyone successfully installed the Pop and Lock PL8521 power tailgate lock? Been having trouble identifying the wire bundle that I need to access the wires described in the instructions to tap into. One wire is Blue/Red and and the other is Blue/Black. Here a picture of the wires located on the driver side kick panel. Please take pictures of the wires you tapped if you can PLEAAAASSSSSEEEEEE. I don't want to pay 4 Wheel Parts $145 on labor (which I think is ridiculous).

If you have a volt meter you can check to see which ones have lower running thru them when you lock/unlock the truck...all you do is lightly spice into the wire enough to show a bit of the wire and test

My 2012 DCSB is the first new car I've ever driven (previous car was a 1961 VW Bus) and my "Maint Req'd" light flashes when I start my car. I have 4,600 miles on it so far so is the truck just trying to tell me that it's almost time for my 5,000 mile oil change? Do all new car do this as a reminder??

^Yeah, that's normal. As long as the light goes off after a few seconds. Once you hit 5,000 it'll stay on until you take it in for service.

dont know if this has been posted, but heres a pic of a couple 2012 differences, both under and on the hood. Too bad we have what is probably a useless air pump on the inner passenger fender, and an even more useless looking hood scoop. Its so small it couldnt draw in air even it it were opened up. :D

I read somewhere that there is no way to modify the remote to have only one push open all doors, instead of two pushes. Still the same for 2012?
I know this can be done in almost any other car. What gives?
