Studded Firestone Winter Force for Winter snow, Firestone Destination M/T for the summer mud, 2.75" Ready Lift Block kit in the front, and 2" AAL in the back, 5100 billies, TRD Cat-Back Exhaust, K&N CAI system under the hood, on a sesame seed bun.

I was confused why they stopped making them with sunroofs. I was told by a dealer that it had to do with the way the truck flexes off road, but the first tacoma i ever drove (which began my love affair) was my bro-in-law's '99 TRD OFFROAD, WITH a sunroof. Makes no sense to me that the BODY would flex enough to do damage, when all the flexing is underneath, except i guess maybe the frame, in which case that would make sense. Even still, it would be cool to see the sun roof back as atleast an option. Isnt there a TW Member on here that had one installed on his 2nd gen? pretty sweeeeeeet.

If they add a sunroof and all that good stuff the total price of a fully loaded taco will be like... One Million dollars! (dr evil)

Honestly that is why i bought a tacoma. Ford, Chevy, and Dodge all change there body styles every 3-4 years. I hate that. I hope they don't redesign the tacoma until 2020!!! I love the way they look, I also like the new 4Runner. But I had a choice to bye a 2011 4Runner or 2011 Tacoma. I chose the tacoma.

BTW it does have v-8 desiel engine, 2 20" TV's, 4 winches, and a self clean mode. AWESOME.

I love the body style. I just want the Dual VVTi like the FJ and 4Runner.

If it ends up looking like the boxy 4 Runner...the ugly stick will have arrived. IMO the best looking 4 Runners were the late model 3rd generation.

No doubt. Toyota should have put friggin' cup holders in the top of the new 4Runner headlights, they stick out far enough. At least it would give you a place to put your beer when working on it.

This was a funny one. Even though I find the 4runner beautifull, I agree that those head lights stick way too far out. I guess that there are even placed where you will back-up, the truck body will pass through but not the lights. Wtf

Honestly? I love the new 4Runner as well, with the exception of the headlights. I can't imagine what made them think it looks good. Toyota has done this on a few of their cars (my previous '09 Corolla, for one) but none have been as blatently ugly as the 4Runner. They've hit a new low. I was afraid that they would give the Taco the same treatment.

How long have you guys spent in or around a 5th gen 4runner? I spend alot of time driving one and they are VERY nice.

this may stir up a :crapstorm: since I am talking about the 2012 Tacoma, however, I havent had any luck doing this myself. Any photoshop experts out there who can alter this photo by changing the color of the truck? I would like to see white, but when I tried to change the color, well, it just painted over the picture, like somone had poured liquid paper (white out) on the computer...not what I'm going for.

Any help? Also if anyone wants to do different colors too, go for it.

whoever knows how to photoshop and wants to have some fun with it, lets go for some different colors that we all know. White, Speedway blue, differents reds...whatever.

    That looks awesome.

Toyota needs to lurk these boards and base their designs off of member creations!
