I think the double cab looks wicked but I was just thinking about it, what would the access cab and the single can look like? I think they may look a little funky what do you guys think?

Ya think? It reeks of Frontier

Whats with the everything has to look like a Hummer or Cube Box thing lately?

What happened to gentle curves and smooth lines? Can Tacoma NOT look like a Nissan or 4 Runner?
    Be O R I G I N A L....There's an idea!!

Why not ask that of people who love the rendering? Ok that aside, I know what it is............ but looking at what Toyota did to the 4 Runnner (and the OP's further posting below) I would not be surprised to see a more Hummer like boxy Tacoma next time around. But at the end of the day I would rather see a change I don't like than one I do. I did not buy another 4 Runner after they changed the body style to a box.

Besides I would think it was posted for comment. I would not think all comments would be in favor of that rendering

from the OP apparently he belives there will be a change in 2012......

I read nothing of what you said other then why not ask that of people who love the rendering.. I'm asking it of everyone.. do you realize this isnt an official image so comments like it is are retarded.

Remember you guys are creating the top of the line model.

If you want to be realistic, create a version with hubcapped rims, cheap looking chrome, and a gigantic dealer sticker on the tailgate. That's how they do it... show the most expensive trim in the commercial, and contradict the advertised price in small fine print.

I think it looks sick. Maybe if it were a little less boxy, bigger headlights (thats a tacoma trademark, you cant get rid of that!), and I would buy it in a heartbeat.

Regardless, something like this isnt happening for a while. So I'm not going to get my hopes up. :)

Less boxy is a good thing...I don;t know what this obsession in the auto industry with the "Hummer" look is . GMC has done it with their SUV. 4 Runner went that way....Explorer Sports and frontiers..Rangers have always been boxy. Hopefully Toyota will lead rather than follow with a redesign....The new RAV 4 design should be telling
