Looks like the turn signals are still in the middle, stupid yellow reflectors and all...

Agreed... it's not bad. I could take an '11 or '12 at this point. Most of the changes are apparently interior (which is where the taco needs it most). Hopefully we'll have some more 29 day old leaks coming now.

I've always liked the current interior. Once you fill up three cupholders with pens and coins, what other vehicle out there has cup holders to spare?

The main stack isn't bad, but I would like leather, controllable rear vents in the DC, AC outlet(s), ipod interface in glove compartment, and some on-dash storage.

I actually don't have a taco yet (been waiting to see what the '12 has in store before I pull the trigger), but I don't think the recent ones have these items do they?

My wife has an outlander... it has 11 cupholders or so.

I am waiting to buy as well. I want to pay down some things, like my current car loan. I'd am gonna look into some Katzkin leather. People have good things to say about it.

Curious, I like the direction they are going, but only if it was on a redesigned truck. I guess 2 more years then, for the 3rd generation!!

I do like the original TRD decal that they went back to.

If the interior is similar to that of the 4Runner, I would buy one.

Just the facelift on the front is not near enough to sell me on it though.

Hope and pray for manual transfer case. They did it in the Trail 4Runner after all....

i wonder what they're going to charge for this thing. i'm definately not lving the silly, angular headlight action. the fogs look pansy too. i may be blown away by the interior and have to get a 12 but if not i'm going to hope for good pricing on an 11.

so there's three chicks and four dudes in the video. who's the third wheel?

I wish they'd throw some new wheels on the TRD packages. They coulda just used wheels from the 4Runner or FJ. New wheel's always gives a refreshing look to any vehicle.

If it's legit (and I suspect it is)... I like it! It's a solid refreshing of the current model. Nothing extreme, nothing that would make you think it was anything still but a gen2 model, yet distinctive. I like how the headlights have been toned down a bit... to be honest, the gen2's headlights have always kind of had that bug-eyed thyroid problem look to them to me. When it first came out I didn't like those headlights. They grew on me over time, but I think the headlights in this refresh give it better, cleaner look. Just my 2 cents.

If I was still in the market for a Taco I would buy this truck in a heartbeat!

As much as I love my 2011...I do like the changes so far. I think the new bumper design looks bad ass, mainly the contrast with the black insets for the fog lights.

I will definitely keep my 2011 but may end up trading it when the full redesign and true 3rd gen comes out.

Anxious to see the interior changes and some shots of the double cabs.

Agreed...the more I look it square in the face, the more I like it. I've a feeling I'll like it better in person - it has some ruggedness to it.

The trend was pointed out earlier in the thread, but...all of those that just recently bought one are going to hate it (I actually really like it), the ones that have had their trucks for a few years are going to be in the middle and those that are in the market for a new truck are going love it.

Eventually, once the newness dies down, we will all love it just as we do the current one.

In the end...it's a Toyota truck...and that is why we are all here.

At first I couldn't stand the 2011's honeycomb grille, but have since come to love it.

And while the 2012's "facelift" hasn't grown on me just yet, I'm sure I'll come to like once the Sport comes out.

Fink, you are correct. It generally takes me alot longer to appreciate any redesign (or even slight mod such as this). LOL, I still prefer the previous Frontier's aesthetics or the current Frontier, and I still love 1st gen Tacomas looks-wise.

    I'm the same way.

I still think the 3rd generation 4Runners are the best looking 4Runners ever. :D
