Cut him some slack guys - maybe he's got better things to do than be stuck to TW like the rest of us. :p

Good lord, pull out the repost stick and beat me with it. I get the point! Did a quick search, but only came up with the same lame photochopped speculation pics that I've seen since I joined TW. Fink has a point.... as much as I would like to spend 26 hours a day looking over TW (no kidding, I would if I could) I have to get on in brief spurts. I'm getting ready to go back to the sand box, getting ready to get married, and going in 4,256 other different directions.

In a last ditch effort to not be "that guy", MODERATOR: Delete this post, judo chop it, set it on fire, drop a 2,000 lb bomb on it, or whatever magic you can work to delete it please. I normally don't repost something that has been seen 50 different times, and try to actually contribute to TW, not junk it up. Thanks in advance.

So I've been in touch with my local fleet manager and she says she's already allocated a 2012 MGM DC/LB/4x4/TRD Sport pretty much with all the fixins. Unfortunately it's been hard for her to get the Entune put into it. But anyways, getting to the point, she emailed me this today, which she said don't pay too much attention to the pricing as it is MSRP and I'll be paying a little closer to invoice (lower according to Costco Pricing), but it kinda gives you an idea of what kind of pricing the 2012 will be close to... Ouch, 2k for the Entune.. Steep:( but I guess I did ask for all the bells and whistles..

I'm not completely sold on entune yet. What is it that causing you to go with it?

I've kinda come to a point in my life that if I can get stuff already pre-installed, I'd rather go that route. Also, I don't know how possible it will be to integrate the steering wheel controls with an aftermarket head unit. The whole system will be brand new, so who knows about aftermarket compatibility (I know it will eventually come around but how long with the wait be?). I can't go without nav, I use it often. And I'm not about to go with one of those on top of the dash units.

I guess when it all comes out, if the fleet manager can't get it in there, I'll go aftermarket (given all the functions can work). If the fleet manager can get it in there, cool! one less thing for me to do later. Win-win situation? I guess I almost don't care either way. I just want the damn truck already!!:annoyed:

Interesting changes for sure. For trucks with the navigation option, I wonder if the backup camera will display in the nav screen instead of in the mirror.

Not so fast my friend............the ranger is done, unless ford brings over the europe version in a couple of years.

The Dakota might be dead in the news but I can tell you that its only for effect. My friend is working right now on the 2014-2015 "comeback". Their goal is a 35mpg v6

I can understand that. I need to look into everything more, but it seems like I have all I need in my smart phone. Sure its an integrated system, but I dont know if it is gonna be worth the extra 2g's.

Well, a couple weeks ago my nav went out on my highlander and I had to use my phone for nav. IT WAS DRIVING ME INSANE!!!:frusty: thats when I pretty much made my decision on an integrated nav. As for the other "apps" not that I'm an audiophile or anything but I would think that listening to music through an integrated system is going to sound much better than through one of those male-to-male jacks... just my opinion...

Cant wait to see pics! Thats pretty much what I'm looking to buy too. Same color and mostly the same options too. I'm liking the entune as well and want to see what the new interior is all about.

One of my concerns about the interior is how different it will be. It could definitely be a good thing if they do it right, but if I don't like it AND I don't get the entune, I'll be screwed! It would take a while until someone creates an aftermarket replacement outter panel to allow for an aftermarket head unit. Who knows how long that'll take?!
