Bought a '12 Tacoma. Sales guy on phone said it had keyless entyr, but when I got there it didn't. We worked a deal and I bought the truck. Service dept. said it wasn't set up to have keyless entry???
Does anyone know if this would be true? I hate not having keyless on the truck.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!

They could of added it for a price. But now it's yours I would just get a aftermarket alarm that has keyless entry.

An aftermarket alarm will give you keyless entry if you have power locks... it you don't have power locks, you'd need lock actuators etc. Turns it into kind of a hassle.

I have a Viper 5704v alarm on my 05 Taco and love it!

keyless entry and I can even start the car from my remote! how dope is that? apparently they have an add on so that i can use my android phone to unlock it and start it. crazy.

don't buy them direct from viper, they're way $$$ you can get them on amazon for about 40% cheaper
