I think the lines are too sharp for such a rounded body. They should have reamped the whole design.

I don't mind the headlights and grille too much, but the bumper just looks odd, especially the plastic piece. Throw an aftermarket bumper on there and I think it'd look just fine. I do like the new interior though.

i like both, but toyota should have redesigned the rear a little to match the front more. i'll make a better judgement on the 12s when i see an all-pro or relentless bumper made for it.

I liked the 2nd gens (05-11) from the moment I saw an '05. While I have a DC out of necessity, I think the Access Cab looks best. I think the best cosmetic feature on the '05-11 is the headlights. The front end on the '12 kills the headlights...

Looking at it again, the front bumper and driving lights are growing on me- but the headlights look like a Bubble-eyed Goldfish...

I think they made the '12's look less tough, reminds me alittle bit of a hilux. I like the look of the older 2nd gens better. Looks alot tougher (which a truck should)

    Pretty much this.

The new front end by itself looks great. As a whole on the truck, it just doesn't flow with the same lines as the rest of the truck. The 05-11 front end was designed with the rest of the truck in mind and the 12 looks like it was designed by itself then molded at the connecting points to fit the truck.

I've managed to add some bug guts to the front
I don't like the front end on the 2012, but I like the interior of it a lot better. Maybe once the 2012's come out, I can swap out the audio head unit with mine. :D

With supposedly an all new Taco coming in '13, I don't really understand why they changed the front end for just one year run. If they had left the front alone and updated the interior, I would have bought a new '12. But I bought a new '11 three weeks ago because the '11 just looks better than the '12!

I'll wait until I see one in person. In addition, I'll give it time. It's not uncommon for people to dislike a new design when it first comes out only to have it grow on you over time.
