Hi, drove my 2012 tacoma reg cab 4x4 in the rain for the first time. I realized I didn't have intermittent wipes. What a pain in the butt. Does anyone know how I can install it in my truck?

I found this out about mine too. Thought I could live with it, but that's a big fat nope from me. It was raining here in Michigan the other day, and I find the FAST and FASTER settings annoying. I shelled out for the OEM stalk and am doing the install this evening. Lots of good threads on the install process here, which seems pretty straightforward.

Thank you so much. There's also a you tube I came across last night. Amazing how they didn't have this on all cars and trucks

I just installed one that I bought on eBay. $24 and seems to work fine so far. Made in China but shipped from Kentucky.

Just did the install tonight - it was pretty straightforward. The toughest part was getting the steering wheel covers off without damaging them - specifically popping the lower cover off. The left side was easy ... the right side was tougher. Take your time, and do get a little plastic pry bar if you can - it was helpful for separating the two pieces once the tabs were released. Doing it in the dark, a headlamp was very helpful as well. The link above from the cheap & easy mod thread is what I followed.

I bought the OEM 04141 part, and it works as intended ... so far.
