Who tested the drain? What was the amperage being pulled with the truck completely off? If you have a volt meter, you can remove the negative cable and using DC amperage mode, connect one lead to the battery negative terminal and the other to the volt meter. You'd then see your amp draw - don't operate anything major on the truck as you can blow the fuse in your volt meter. From there, you can remove fuses one at a time and see if you can find the engine compartment or interior fuse which shows the most reduction in draw. That should help point you to the circuit which is drawing power.

Do you have an aftermarket alarm system?

The guy that tested the drain sells batterys repairs batteries to sale as blems, rebuild starters, alternators, and does some electrical repairs, if i remember right he said my truck had around 70 mili amps which should of been average for this truck,he did say that it looks like it has a aftermarket remote start on it, the only remote i got was the factory remote it only has lock and unlock on it,as stated before if the truck sets for week it will get below 12 volts, far as a alarm system being on the truck it has the factory security light that blinks in the dash when locked

Try some periods every once in a while so this is easier to read. I also don’t think you want to be over 50 miliamps.

I had a tacoma that would do the same thing after a couple of days of non use. I would of swore up and down soething was draining it down, i tested it and couldnt find anything out of the normal, had the battery and alternator tested and it tested good. Two weeks later the battery was toast, it was going bad but did not show up till it went out.you said something about refurbished batteries, are you using one or did you buy a new quality battery that is the right size.

That alone shouldn’t be the issue unless it wasn’t installed right. I have a 2012 with a remote start and the original battery.

Most of the time dark current is related to wiring someone has added, not OE wiring.

Alarms and stereos tend to be #1 because of how many are done in a poor manner.

Start by figuring out if you have such electrical mods.
