'05 - '10 grills. The 2011 was changed and IMO blows the '12 away.

Chrome wheels stink, 18" wheels stink.

I like the new shape tho.

I definitely now like the look of the 2012s. It took a while for them to grow on me, but now when I see one on the road... :jellydance:

I got my 2012 a month ago and really like the look of the truck. It grows on me more and more. I did opt for the "Upgrade" package with the chrome wheels. I didn't realize they were plastic until the truck arrived at the dealer for me to pick it up. I wasn't having that so I raised a stink with the sales manager and got them to give me my $600 back towards and new set of wheels. Went shopping for 18" wheels and couldn't find much that fit so I had to go to 17's and kicked in some cash for tires. I am glad that it worked out that way because I really like the new wheel and tire combo I ended up with instead of the crappy plastic wheels and street tires it came with.

    Plus-one.

I think the new grill/headlights/hood scoop is all just fine and quite good looking. Kinda has that mean, under-bite, bulldog thing going on.

But the fact that the rest of the truck is the "old" genII taco with all the organic lines... It's no longer a cohesive design. And the 18" fake-chrome hub-caps are just stupid.

    ^^ Yep! very true!
If they only changed the fenders all around giving it a wider stance, and matching the front end lines .. Then it could be considered a new gen. "not just a face lift"..
And would look alot better, I think..

I saw a 2012 sport at dealer. the part i like best is the part you dont see, the interior, the interior in the 12 i feel is much better than previous years. But the 18" chrome wheels are hideous, and i hate how the front fenders flares meet the front bumper it looks odd up close i think. and why even bother with a scoop that looks like a tiny slit.

I like it better than my 2011 Sport. I read the back-up cam screen is larger too.
