I'm looking at buying a 2012 DC 4.0 4x4 with tow pkg. and noticed if you get the tow pkg. it comes with TSC.

Did the prior year 2nd gen. tacoma's have this?

Does it effect the truck if you install a lift?

(I've read some people already have troubles with VSC)
    Thanks for any help.

Ok, so 2012 is the first year for this.

Yea I read the paragraph in the sale brochure too. I figured it applied breaking too, but so does VSC I think.
So I still wonder about lifting a 2012 with tow pkg. with two system potentially giving you trouble.
May have to get one without tow package and just add the hitch and stuff.

I seriously doubt a lift would affect any of the TSC/VSC stuff.

Well in doing a search on vsc stuff there are a number of people with minor to major complaints about vsc kicking in after doing a lift to just tire/wheel changes, and now add tsc to the mix.

So I'm just trying to make sense out the TSC & VSC systems before buying a truck I ultimately would like to add a lift too.
