2012 TRD Access Cab Master Cylinder Brake Fluid Leak

    If my brake booster is working, can I transfer it over to the new master?? And yes this system is very nice but when its trouble yikes

    I would consider the pump to be the booster and that is the part that appears to be leaking.
    I'm not really sure, breaking it into components is new territory to me but if you could just get the pump at a reasonable price I don't see why you couldn't just change the pump. Looks like it's just a hose and a hard line that connects the pump to the master cylinder.

    I'd like to replace the whole system but theres 2 options - one with the pure master cylinder and one with the additional part with the canister. Looking at part and manufacture dates.

    Turns out its the ACCUMULATOR assembly leaking!! not the master since it holds pressure perfectly fine and its dry. The plastic "weep hole" is from the pump, not the master. Also the brakes are quite hard so I suspected booster problems. Going to submit the order for a new one thanks for the help everyone!!

    To close the thread, the new accumulator from Toyota was installed today and indeed that was the part that went bad on my 2012 TRD taco. No leaks and the brakes feel even better! Thanks for the help everyone.
