Well I went ahead and sold my 05 taco on craigslist after just running into too many issues with it.

I couldn't hold off the edge for very long because tomorrow I have this bad boy getting trailered up to me from Houston

I've had all of the appropriate inspections done, it has 30,000 miles on it which is low for a five-year-old truck and I got a hell of a deal in exchange for it not having anything more than a 90 day warranty

I wanted to inquire the community about the air fuel pump injector issues in the 2012s and just how common they are.

Is it something I should expect?
Anything else about the 2012's I should know about?

She's already fitting in beautifully at work.
Good to hear. I was reading up on on of the threads concerning that fuel air pump injector and all about the patch you can buy online.

I'm handy under the hood but anything too intricate I'm not too confident.

After facing what I'll call the great head gasket disaster of 2016 ...I love hearing that. Much thanks!

Thanks! Had her maiden voyage to and from work today, runs fantastic.
It's funny how little they change the truck in 7 years, yet it's completely different at the same time. I guess 120,000 miles makes a difference as well lol

I swiped the weather techs from the 05 before I sold it and put them in today and they fit almost* perfectly. Now I just need to find the time over the weekend, to get the spark plugs swapped out. I'm debating taking it in somewhere for a full tune up, time is my biggest issue these days.
