The end of the world based on a Mayan calender. This from the same people who said Nostradamos's third ant-crist was to come in the latter part of the 90s. The Mayan calender does end in 2012, the same time there is expected to be planetary alignment (could be coincidence). The Mayan culture would celebrate the end of the calender with a celebration. I don't agree it's the end of the world. I do agree that it's an important date. Let's face it, there won't be any of us around for the next planetary alignment in 26,000 years.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
It's not a coincidence. Their whole calendar is based on astronomical events. It's no different in respect to the our calendar, we replace it after 12/31/XXXX because it is a new year or new cycle. 12/21/2012 just represents the beginning of the 13th b'ak'tun (long count period).

And I agree, total BS about the end of the world.

Didn't the Mayans have sacrificial rituals? Maybe they are trying to tell us something, maybe they are trying to tell us to sacrifice some people to appease the Gods. So the Gods won't get mad at us and kill all of us in 2012.

I think we should vote in Rosie O'donnell, Jessie Jackson, Al Gore, Madona, Barbra Walters, Joy Behar, Rachel Maddow (this chick or "lesbian" has got to go!!!), Wanda Sykes, and that girl on the bus who stole the old man's bag on the bus, and many more! lol

no. i dont think anything unusual will happen on dec. 21 2012.
even if some earth shattering event was to take place; picking an exact day (+ or - a few weeks) is way to difficult.

maybe the sun and another star orbit each other. (most stars in milky way galaxy have binary orbits). and every once in a while they stray to close to one another and some comets from each solar system go flying in all directions and sometimes make it to earth. (thank you jupiter for saving us!!!). and also when they get close solar activity increases.

and ya id say we got nothing to worry about :)

    besides we all have tacos.

Nice beast of a truck. Have you been to Wyatt's site www.rocksolidtoys.com ? It's a site dedicated to SAS'd Toyota's.

We need some adaptive technology for our trucks. Toyota needs to speed up development of their space program so I can add defensive accessories to my truck.

You need a choice "Yes, the Aztec religion was right about the Christian religion, also an alien is coming to earth that looks like Jesus."
