    Hey Guys,

I have a 2012 Xrunner with plans in the works to install a twin turbo set up on it. I know this is not the path of least resistance and money spending. I wanted to do something different and frankly turbos are fun. That being said, I will update this with my progress(as glacial as it may be), part selections and questions.

To start; I upgraded my clutch to a Spec Stage 2+, swapped out the fork for a Clutch Masters Hyd. TOB, and installed a TRD short throw shifter. I decided to get the standalone ECU and jumper harness set up while I collect the parts for install. Went with a ECU Master Black. Currently working on mapping all the pins.

Would anyone happen to have a copy of the pin diagram? I believe the one I have is from 2007 and want to make sure nothing changed in terms of pinout.

If you have issues with the Clutchmasters TOB, and I hope that you don't, the Tilton one will be the way to go.

This will be fun to carry along with.

Yeah I’m hoping it lasts, in my preemptive research I missed the bad reviews some how and only saw them after I had installed it. So stupid that they didn’t incorporate an internal stop to stop it from blowing out and a key for it the piston to not spin in the housing.

Thanks for the recommendation, if this thing ends up going I’ll dive into the thread for the Tilton setup!

My realistic goal rn is to have all the parts purchased and the installation started in December but we’ll see if my wallet allows hahaha. I’ll post my parts list soon for the parts I’m looking at getting.

I am excited to follow along with this. I have a BW EFR 7163 and some Kelford turbo cams waiting for my truck, and I haven’t decided if I want a single or twins. I look forward to seeing how you go about packaging everything with your setup

Who's fabricating your turbo manifolds? No need to post that if it will be part of your parts list.

Hell yeah! Im looking at the Kelford cams myself but looking at Garrett Turbos. Will post the parts list a couple days. As for packaging, talked to my fab guy and we will most likely relocate the battery to bed but want to put aux terminal leads in the engine bay to make it easier to jump if need be.

Shop in CT called ARD performance will be doing my fab work. He's done work for me before on my 1995 kx250 I rebuilt and liked the work he does. The work on the truck will include a custom exhaust, turbo plumbing, battery relocation, and maybe even a electronic control valve in the exhaust for fun haha.

Hey guys, so in this post I will list out the parts, goals, and mods I intend to implement for the truck. Feedback is welcome, I tried to do as much reading and calcs(I'm working on double checking the math lol) as I can but always more to learn! In addition, I will mark components that I am "unsure" of or need to look into more.

    Goals:
I am shooting to only make around 390-400hp as the limiting factor is the Aisin RA60 transmission that comes stock. I have purchased a T56 adapter bellhousing to prep for the future upgrade and will be on the hunt passively for the appropriate T56 that will fit and all the supporting mods for it(driveshaft, 3rd member, etc.). If I recall correctly from the URD manual, a 99-02 camaro/firebird one will do nicely but out of the scope of the initial build due to budget. From my research I found that the stock supercharger set ups were running about 390hp so I figured that would be a safe goal. Im looking to run about 10-12 psi in this twin turbo set up(39mm turbos). Battery will be relocated to the bed for this. I don't want to build this truck into a drag truck, I'm looking for a road "track build" so to speak where it handles itself nice in the corners and not just in a straight line. The truck just rounded 160000 miles so I plan to do the timing chain and clean up the heads when I pull them off. I have plans for cosmetic stuff but that will come after the performance is done.

    Parts/mods:
    -Aeromotive Fuel Pressure Regulator
    -Aeromotive 320 LPH(URD Fuel Pump/Filter Kit)
    -Cometic Head Gasket
    -ARP Studs
    -aFe POWER 76mm Throttle Body
    -StopTech Big Brake Kit
-2 x Garrett GBC20-300, wastegates are integrated into the turbo
-ECU Master Black w/flying lead harness
-Turbo manifold and exhaust by ARD Performance, might incorporate magnaflo free flow cats and muffler as I don't want the truck super loud.
    -Spec Stage 2+ Clutch
-Clutch Masters TOB(looking to upgrade to the Tilton one with the adapter kit if mine goes)
    -TRD Shifter & Ball
    -URD Sway bar-End Link Bushing
-URD T56 Bell Housing, URD Hose Assembly for T-56 Swap Kit, & URD Release Bearing Spacer for T56 swap kit
    -2" drop kit from URD

-Turbosmart or HKS blow off valve(need to do more research, any recommendations?)
-URD Performance Thermostat 170 Degree?(any feed back on these?)
-650cc injectors(I calculated 591.50cc/min using equations I found on Holley's website, not sure if this is overkill)
-I'm trying to decide which traction bar to go with, I know URD makes one but if anyone has feedback on this that would be helpful
-Thinking about running Kelford cams and springs but might wait til the next phase when I do the T56
-Looking for recommendations on upgraded suspension also, looking for better corning and such.
    -Hard Bed cover w/small spoiler
-Mishimoto( S-Line or R-Line) or Wagner Intercooler(need to do more research, any recommendations?)
-Possibly might upgrade the radiator but need to research more if this is even worth it.
    -WBO2 Sensors(any recommendations welcome)
-Gauges for boost and oil pressure(recommendations welcome)

    Part Search:
-Does anyone have a oil pan spacer that was made by Coupe for sale or does anyone know if he still makes them?
-Looking to pick up the XII front end sway bars if anyone has them for sale.

Right now, I'm slowly working on part acquisition as I also work on wiring up an adapter harness to from the ECU Master Black to the stock engine harness. Open to any other mod suggestions also. Thanks guys.

Pretty sure that I have a set of XII Performance sway bars in my attic. I believe front and rear. Definitely front. With the needed Energy Suspension bushings. I was going to try to adapt them to my 4x4 model, but never got around to it.
