Oh OK I got it now I was thinking that's a lot of work to relocate your transmission just to put some lights behind your grill. I see the pics you added now.

I needed more room to mount my large LED's behind the grill.

I cant find any pics of when I did the job, and getting pics now would require removing the front plastics on the truck....

I unbolted one end of the transmission cooler, and was able to bent the thin sheet metal mount of the other side downward. I then used some scrap metal to make a mounting point for the side I moved to a hole already drilled in the truck. I also had to grind down one corner of the cooler bracket with my angle grinder to gain the clearance for my lights. I did not remove the cooler or disconnect the coolant lines in any way while doing this.

I found a basic how to on here on what I did. I also used that to relocate my horns for clearance.

If you get one with an electric fan (recommended since you'll be moving from a good wind area) you can put anywhere it's convenient. I've seen them laying flat towards the back.

I would research more but I've seen it!

Could not resist after I saw the thread title.

My truck came with all the lights this this deaf-dumb-blind-kid will ever need. Leave the transmission cooler where it is.
