    2013 Regular Cab Tacoma
    Hello

I am new here and just bought my first Tacoma, 2013 Regular Cab. I have been reading a lot of posts here about swapping out bench seats, as most guys have said the driver's side is simple plug & play, the passenger lines up and bolts in no problem, it is the wiring that is the issue. I found this post that seems to be the most details and doesn't require ripping apart the bench to make it work.

does anyone have any insight into this of how it works and how to swap the wires? in it he is bringing in a dedicated 12V, wondering where this is coming from? i assume that for the most part, you are transferring wire for wire based on color? but what do you do with the extra 3 wires?

any insight would be helpful. thank you
