Hi all - I'm new to the forum and own a 2013 black double cab 4x4. Love it!
I have on order the RCD 4.5-5 inch lift and need to order wheels and tires.
I am after the look ( tall tire look ) that Wizzard005 has on his truck although he has a 6" lift. I will be ordering those sames wheels, the XD Monsters 18x9 -12 offset.

My question is, what are the best tire sizes to replicate that look without carving out my entire fender well?

Wizzard002 has 35 12.5x18 but with a 6 inch lift and in one if his videos mentioned he rubbed a little right after he got it back from the shop before anything was trimmed.

I need the expert advise from the guys that know because I certainly do not.
    Your advise is greatly appreciated.
    David

You need to stick to 33's or less with a 4" lift, anything over 285's and you will need to trim a lot of stuff and chop the cab mount if you are going to do any off roading at all. 6" lifts do not clear 35's without chopping, cutting and trimming and flattening the pinch weld too...it's a myth trust me. Don't sacrifice drive ability for looks you will seriously regret it in the long run.

    Icon/All Pro.....chopped for 35's
Trim for 35's........it's really not that bad. Keep the stock UCA's and trim what little bit of plastic it'll rub on. Only if you plan on fully stuffing the tires, will you need to do the rest. Basic plastic trimming will do the job. Aftermarket UCA's will add 2* caster and push the tire back in the wheel well where it will start rubbing the firewall/body mount area, which will need to be trimmed and castor adjusted too. If you only do light wheeling, you'll be fine.
