    Hey Everyone,

I have done some digging and haven't quite found an answer as of yet, though I am hoping to try and diagnose the issue tomorrow from what I have uncovered this far.

    The Issue:
When going over bumps of any kind and of any size, be it a man hole cover, speed bump, curb, or something larger, I hear a loud "clunking" sound coming from the front of my vehicle.

It sound almost like driving over an animal grate in the road, or my coils or chock bottoming out or something along those lines.

I plan on checking the frame bolts and other bolts tomorrow to make sure nothing is loose and torquing everything down according to the torque spec sheet.
Unfortunately this is about the limit of my current mechanical inclination until I can in list the help of a friend or take it to the dealer for them to look at it.

I also suspect it might be the result of the RevTek Leveling kit that is installed in my truck. (Yes I know leveling kits are not recommended by anyone, but it has served me well for the past ~2100 Miles, and I am currently shopping around for new suspension. You can find my thread for that here if you have any recommendations.)

It should also be mentioned that I have not owned the vehicle very long and the previous owner did mention that they had loaded the truck pretty heavy a couple times, though it never left pavement with the exception of their gravel driveway.

    Thank you everyone!

I started having a clunk at 200K on my '06. It was the lower control arm bushings. Put Urethane bushings in and problem gone.
