HU: Stock - I like the functionality of it with the steering wheel and the stock look. I have always replaced them in the past, we will see how this goes.

Line Out Converter: Audio Control LC7i. Got a great deal on ebay! $60 shipped. I may mount this i lower storage bin under rear seats.
    http://www.crutchfield.com/p_161LC7...52065&awat=pla&awnw=g&awcr=16679576665&awdv=c

Amps: Kicker ZX500.1 and Kicker ZX350.4. I have had these amps for a few years now and they have been great for me. Awesome, clean, underrated power. The links are just for anyones reference.

    http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item...ZX350.4.html?gclid=CIb93qaTmr4CFUMQ7Aod1gcA_g

These will be located on rear wall, drivers side.

Sub: Sundown SD-2 10" D4. Bought from ZMan2k2. I have heard nothing but great things about it. I have always used Kicker subs before. I loved the L7s.
    http://www.sundownaudio.com/index.php/products/subwoofers/item/sd-series.html

Sub Box: Custom made by myself. It will be roughly .66cuft, sealed, and behind the rear passenger seat.

Front Door: Infinity Kappa 6.5 2-way component set. First time I have ever used infinity, but I have always heard great things, especially the Kappa series. And a great price!
    http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_13969_Infinity-Kappa-60.9cs.html

Rear Door: Infinity Reference 6.5 2-way Shallow Mount speakers. Again, great deal and great reviews.
    http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_18904_Infinity-Reference-6032si.html

Wiring: Kicker PDK-4, dual amp wiring kit. I had most the wire, but i need the distro block and fuse holder. It was cheaper to buy the kit. $68 on ebay.
    http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_68671_Kicker-PKD4.html

I also bought 40ft of Kicker K series 16ga speaker wire to run all new. Again, i had some leftover, but needed more. I really liked the thick casing, very easy to use.

RCA: Kicker K series. I know I asked around earlier about recommended types, but I ended up going with what I know, and they match everything. I am weird like that sometimes. If it looks good, it sounds good. :D

    http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_68660_Kicker-KI44.html

Deadener: FatMatt. I used this in my Dakota. I loved how well it worked, but it did kind of suck when it got really hot and started "melting" out from behind the door. honestly, only real reason i am using it, is that i got a whole bunch last time and I have it left over.

I have some time off from work coming soon. I will start then. Hopefully, i will have everything ready to go by then. I am still waiting on a few things to arrive in the mail. I will take pics as I go and when new things arrive!

I will do all the install and building myself. That is what I have always done the past 10 years.

Looks like a great list. The Kappa's are nice speakers, but the tweeters are aluminum dome, if I'm not mistaken. If you like bright sounding speakers, this is definitely the way to go, otherwise, you may want to use the crossover to help with the sound. I think the crossover has a -3db, 0db, and +3db setting on it, I would suggest going with the -3db setting at first, just to kill off some of the ringing that aluminum dome tweeters have at high volumes. Just my opinion though. Otherwise, looks like the start of a great system. Enjoy the sub.

Infinity = Bright and Tinny sounding. They have been like that since the early 90's.

I've been using Infinity Kappas in my Civic for ~5 years and I love them, but they are definitely bright and not for everyone.

90% of my music is metal, for reference.

The design I came up with will be behind the rear passenger side seat. It will go from far left (while looking at seat) to just before the middle child seat harness. So H=18.5", W=23", Bottom D=7" and Top D=3". Should be .66cuft on the dot, and that is subtracting out the 2.25x2.25x23" "tube" in the back to fit around that brace.

The image cutoff my written height dimension, but as stated above, it is 18.5".

I dont listen to too much metal, but I am hoping i can use the -db setting and make then not so harsh. I haven't listen to them for myself yet, just going off people's opinions.

Pretty much the same dimensions I came up with. Are you figuring on 1/2" or 3/4" material?

BTW, I have Infinity Kappas in my Scion and love them.

3/4". I used http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/boxcalcs.asp#wed for my calculator. really easy to use.

I can't wait to get them hooked up. I got a great deal too, regular price was about $250, got them for $130. Also, now that I have physically seen the stock Tacoma speakers, they sound even worse because they look so bad, lol.

Huh. I got H=18.5, W=29.5, Bottom D=7 and top D=0. I wonder why our widths are so dissimilar?

Going to recheck my tape measure, it's been wrong before... ;)

Sealed sub box. Make adjustments as needed but this will give you a rough idea.

29.5" is what I got too from far left side to the other seat. But i need room for my amps, so I am only taking the box over 23".

I actually drew that up in autocad. I can post whatever you would like... To be honest, I haven't even had the time to build it. Does that box work?

I was just curious to compare dimensions. I didnt notice that the back wall dips back once you go over the brace....and I might just be mis-reading the picture. I have not built mine yet.
