My '13 JBL CD player is giving me a Check Disc error when I put in audio books. I'm thinking that they're not compatible. Has anybody else tried?

I'll update again later with more details...

Audio CD is CDFS format.

Doesn't support CDFS, convert them to .mp3 and you'll be all set.

Forgot to reply back sooner.it turns out, regular CD's aren't playing neither.
Also, those cdfs audio books are playing in an inexpensive portable CD player.
