    Hey all,

I'm hoping someone might be able to shed some light (no pun intended) on my issue. A little background, in March I upgraded almost all of the incandescent bulbs on my 2013 TRD Sport over to CSJumper's led's, including the Switchback style White DTRL/Amber front Turns. I didn't have any problems until about a month ago.

When using the White DTRL / Amber Turns on the 2012-2013 the parking lights are on all the time with the DTRL because of the way the truck is wired. While this doesn't bother me aesthetically, I have noticed over the past month that the driver side (driver side only) parking lamp led has been intermittently going off and on almost as though overheating, cooling down, then turning back on. I am currently using CSJumper's T10 projector styled LED parking lights.

So far I have tried reversing the polarity, which doesn't seem to make a difference with this style LED as they operate either way. I have also replaced the LED twice only to see the same result.

If anyone has encountered this or if anyone more versed in LED technology could put in their $.02 it would be greatly appreciated! Look forward to hearing what everyone has to say and hopefully resolving this issue.

    All the Best,
    Jack

I got another option as you suspected the small high powered leds overheat due to the small area in the housing. Ive since discontinued these bc of the problems in the small housing. Pm me and we can get this worked out for you.

    Thanks
    Chris

Please share your "other option" with us. This is a ongoing issue with the dtrl's and oem bulbs... ends up melting the lens. If you have a fix we'd sure like to hear it.

Dtrls for white/amber for 2005-14s and amber dtrls or front turns for 05-11. Are the fix for the melting lense issue.

Tennisbum was talking about the parking leds. I have fixed those and have a different option for those as well.

they are approx 500 lumen avail in white or amber and havent had any issues out of these since the switch.

send me a pm if interested in a quote.

Done and done! I wanted to say thanks to Chris for always going out of his way to provide the best experience possible from the purchaser's perspective. High quality products, great service, and even when you think you might have an internal issue as I did here, he's quick to step in and take care of business. So thanks again and I look forward to doing business again soon.
