Yeah man...with all the California members on here it's weird that USC , UCLA, ETC fans aren't in here also. But with college football being huge (and way better than NFL) I figured this thread would be way bigger and more diverse than our little group.

It's all good though......even with the lonesome Notre Dame fan that still comes back for more. :p

Well maybe that's why this thread is ok, we don't have our most hated rivals on here. But there does seem to be a general respect for each other on here that I don't see on some of the other places I've been on.

Hell, I even got flamed on a UGA forum several years ago by another UGA fan for a disagreement over who should be starting if I remember correctly. I don't even remember the forum as I quickly got away from it and the hostility which I didn't expect on there.

There was a big gator fan on the forum... benca1. We actually made a deal for me to buy his black TRD rims and it fell apart largely because I'm an Alabama fan. (He hates Alabama fans, apparently.)

Anyway, he posted in the NCAA thread a few times back in Florida was relevant. He turned into a total dick when FL lost to Alabama in the 2009 SECC, and then he got all butthurt and stopped posting.

I searched for a real dipshit post he made about Alabama fans a few years back, but I can't find it.

I've given this speech before...take it for what it's worth........

I can take the hatred towards us , the gimmick this, gimmick that, so whatever. It's not like I made our schedule to where it's my fault the "strength" isn't there. I didn't miss the fuckin field goal or make a stupid call so I ain't getting butthurt. Do I hate losing? FUCKYEAH!!! That's what alcohol soothes :D

And it goes both ways because I hate a handful of teams that I will NEVER like in my time on this earth.......but it's fun shootin the shit about college ball cuz we are all passionate about it.

Will I admit we fucked up and played a shitty game against a great LSU team or a great Auburn team or Ohio State team? YEP! I'm a fuckin realist. I've been to a game at least once every year for 40 years (alot of years it was every game at Autzen) since 1973 (yep in mommas womb I was there :D) and i've been thru ALL THE SHITTY YEARS!!!!!!!!!

I didn't jump on the bandwagon!!!! I stayed thru the games in snow, sleet ,rain and all other shit just to watch us lose 3 to 0. Losing was the norm yet I still loved being there and rooting for my irrelevant Ducks.

Everyone on here is a great bunch of football fans and it's fun posting up in here.

    6 to 8 days left and this shit will get real in here....CAN'T WAIT! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

Agreed!! Just SpacemanSpiff gets a little cranky at times .....and drifter379 slurs his words together after big losses (hit the bottle much?). I really get a kick out of this thread though.

I do get "cranky" during a bad game or after losing so I try to stay away for a bit so I don't say something I'll regret or out of line.

Haha...I remember that guy. Pretty sure we all flamed him pretty hard after he turned into a complete dick.

Some people think I'm not a "real fan" cuz a lot of times I don't have too much faith in the Dawgs. Being a fan of any sports team in GA is hard. UGA always blows one game they shouldn't, the Braves always choke in the playoffs, and the Falcons can't ever get over the hump. Then there's Ga Tech, which doesn't really matter either way. The Hawks might make the playoffs, but they never go anywhere.

I just think I'm more of a realist. Like the Clemson game...I'm gettin more worried about it every day. I hope we're 4-0 after the firrst month, but we could easily be 1-3, and everyone will be calling for Richt's head.

I'd rather be a realist than a blind homer. A lot of the latter give us a bad reputation imo.

As for the opener, I'm not as worried about the youth on D as I am about the fact that the secondary has has so much trouble with injury and missing practice. Not to mention Clemons suspension. :( Regardless I think they will get a heavy dose of Gurley and Marshall so if we can run effectively enough and keep their offense off the field that will be our best D.

We've had a lot of trouble with mobile QBs in the past few years. I mean...besides Ga Tech. I mean I know he's not Tim Tebow when it comes to running the ball, but if he needs to, he can break off a 10-15 yard run for a first. In my opinion, if we lose 3rd down, we lose the game.

Hey UGA folks, if you had to choose between playing Gurley or Marshall, who would you pick?

South Carolina Football: Game-by-Game Schedule Predictions for 2013

    http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...ll-game-by-game-schedule-predictions-for-2013

With a 12-0 record and a berth in the SEC Championship Game, South Carolina will have done everything to earn the chance to play for a BCS National Championship.
The Gamecocks will be in perfect form to accomplish their goals.
2013 has the potential to be a special year for South Carolina, one that will go down in the record books.

Gurley. So far, he's the more well rounded back. Has more power, and isn't that much slower. We'll see what Marshall can do this year. He's packed on some muscle and gotten a bit bigger. I think he'll have more of a role this year. Might even see em both on the field at the same time :spy:
