Should be...I don't think either team will run away with the game and with the questions surrounding clowney's fitness and UGA's injuries...it could go either way

I think home field advantage decides it and UGA takes the win but it'll be close

Ready for the home opener! Got a parking pass for this one so I won't have to walk the 3 miles from my apartment to the stadium

Should be a hell of a game. I'll be at work Til 530, and we don't get ESPN so I'm pissed. Hopefully Gurley's thigh is ok. We'll be without our kicker again, so hopefully it doesn't come down to a field goal.

Why? You are going to walk home after it from being hammered anyway.

I don't usually log on during weekends, so I had to catch up on 10 pages...

Fist of all... Roll Tide! A win is a win. Our defense gave up a big play, but otherwise was as good as I've seen them. Our kick coverage, which has given us issues, was fantastic. Our return game was great.

    then there's the O-line...

We don't any freshman on the O-line. We have three new starters:
    • Arie Kouandijo - Left Guard - Junior
    • Ryan Kelly - Center - Sophomore
    • Austin Shepherd - Right Tackle - Junior

    Returning O-Line:
    • Cyrus Kouandijo - Left Tackle - Junior
    • Anthony Steen - Right Guard - Senior

My father-in-law pointed something out that I didn't notice... There were several plays where we called a running play, saw 8 men in the box, and DIDN'T check-off to a pass. That's not like us. We think that Saban was trying to teach the O-line (and the rest of the team) something. No idea what. Humility, maybe? I don't know. I'd like to know how we would have played if the game had been closer.

But alas... it was a blowout and wasn't in question from the opening minutes.

Va Tech has one of the best defensive fronts we'll see this year. The next best (or better? I don't know) is La State, who we'll see in November.

Texas A&M gave up 509 yards and 31 points to Rice! Our O-line doesn't need to be the best unit in the country to do well against that kind of defense. I'm not saying we'll win for sure, but I'm not as worried as some of the Bammers around here.

I get that it's a Clemson thing to rush the field (or meet at the paw or whatever), but it doesn't change the way it looks to outsiders: amateurish.

I've taken a few shots at Murray for not being a 'big game quarterback,' especially after coming 5 yards short of beating Alabama in the SECC last year... but that botched FG was the difference in the game, and I don't think he kicks field goals. It's a tough break for him, and it doesn't help his terrible record against top-10 teams, but I would lay this one at his feet.

    Christionity!!!!

Who saw that coming? I'm adding that #22 to the countdown for next year right now.

That's my new second-favorite Aaron Murray face... behind this one:

I put that game on our o line. I've heard all off season how we were supposed to have one of the best lines and they got whooped. But Murray did have the pic right after getting the ball I their territory with a chance to take big momentum.

They must be smokin' some good stuff. More than likely, the top 4 teams will win out.....at the least, the top 2. And besides, we're always good for at least 1 bullshit loss.....not Georgia, that would be a legitimate loss....more like a Tenn. or Arkansas. SEC road games are usually a struggle for us.

I'm not sure Alabama will win out. You guys in the SEC beat up on each other pretty well usually.

Oregon has one tough game I will be really worried about, and that is Stanford. I may be worried about the fuskies game too since they look OK.

OSU has a weak schedule, but they have a few trap games thrown in there. Hopefully they lose down the home stretch so they get knocked far enough down.

Clemson has a few tough games as well. If they go undefeated... well, that's a nice sized IF isn't it?

Stanford will either stay in the top 5, or be in the top 2. Depends on if they get by Oregon.

tell me about it...Maryland...NCState...BC...terrible teams...but we've been known to call it in against teams like this in the past

anyone that honestly believes that theres no such thing as a trap game is an idiot...you wanna play for the NC? play every game as if it's for the NC...regardless if it's a lower tier school or a top 5 matchup

The announcers of the game kept telling Clemson to circle Maryland and watch out for it over other games.
