ESPN said LSU pounded Auburn? The only pounding I saw was from the Rain. Les Miles will make corrections before next weeks game. Both teams made a lot of mistakes last night. WAR EAGLE!

Have you seen them play this season or seen the offensive production that they have had? They were scoring 44.67 points per game and gaining 547.3 yards per game before coming to Starkville. We held them to 7 points and 186 yards. We also got a pick six off of the one of the nation's most efficient passer coming into this season.

Since Texas has a bye week coming up, what game are you going to use to get drunk?

I don't see him picking us honestly.

Yep, still have special teams issues and Richt will never change his mind about hhaving a special teams coach.

To reflect on yesterdays game though, w/o the sp. teams debacle we played pretty good I guess. What bothers me is the lack of running game against a nobody. Couldn't believe they held Gurley under 100 yards. Of course from what I seen in highlights from the 2nd half, he didn't play late though.

I'm not sure how to feel about a possible black out. On one hand if it gets the team a little extra spark then why not? On the other, I don't like the idea of having to do this to get the team up. They should be excited and ready for this game w/o any schemes.

Is this weeks AP poll a true definition of a joke? Oregon didn't play, but all of a sudden got 4 votes for 1st. Didn't they only have 1 last week?

Georgia is an early 3 point favorite over LSU. Home field gives us 3, so it's basically even.

UGA shit the bed in the first half and LSU nearly shit the bed in the second half. Could be an interesting game.

Don't Be Fooled By The Scoreboard, Georgia Dominated North Texas

    http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...letter&utm_campaign=georgia-bulldogs-football

It was ugly, it was sluggish and the scoreboard won't exactly impress voters who didn't watch the game.

But don't be fooled. Georgia dominated North Texas in two of the three phases of the game in Saturday's 45-21 win at Sanford Stadium in Athens, Ga.

    Just how lopsided was it?

The Bulldogs out-gained the Mean Green 641-245, quarterback Aaron Murray threw for 408 yards and three touchdowns, and true freshman wide receiver Reggie Davis had two catches for 134 yards and a touchdown. That touchdown went for a school record 98 yards and was the 100th career touchdown pass by Murray.

Aaron Murray's 98-yard TD to Reggie Davis
Despite the video-game statistics, Georgia found itself in a 21-21 tie early in the third quarter after the Mean Green scored on a blocked punt returned for a touchdown, and Brelan Chancellor returned a kickoff 99 yards for a touchdown.

Georgia got caught looking ahead to next week's showdown with LSU—at least on special teams—and found itself in a much more stressful game than it anticipated.

    That happens.

In college football, momentum is fickle.

Just two weeks ago, it was clear that Georgia was the class of the SEC East after its 41-30 win over South Carolina in Athens. After a bye week, the perception will almost certainly shift to Georgia being inconsistent and a team that shouldn't be in the top 10.

Georgia's biggest issue—its defense—looked solid against a rather potent North Texas offense. Granted, Idaho, Ohio and Ball State—Mean Green's first three opponents of the season—aren't exactly juggernauts, but they came into the matchup averaging 465 yards per game.

Two special teams plays by North Texas made it close for a while, but in the end, the cream rose to the top, and should give Georgia some confidence moving forward.

That's not an excuse. Special teams are part of the equation and Georgia is certainly going to have to tighten up next week versus LSU to hang with the mighty Tigers. But for the first time all season, Georgia's defense came to play and brought Georgia one step closer to playing a complete game.

That's a step in the right direction for the Bulldogs.

And UGA's longest TD pass in history.

Yeah... It was Bama's "less than impressive" 25 point win. Team looked unmotivated after the TAMU win.

I'm not worried about it. It's the kind of win Alabama fans should love... game was never in question and we won by more than 3 TDs, but there's LOTS for Saban to get pissed about and coach up the players.

I really hope UGA doesn't do a black-out. I want the game to be competitive.
