His car was broken into and he paid the money back. I don't think there's gonna be a major punishment for this one. NCAA may try to alter his suspension or something but I highly doubt they're gonna vacate wins, etc.

Yeah... It's not like Alabama is saying it's no big deal. They're suspending people (probably firing the coach), and surely cooperating with the NCAA to the fullest. The NCAA doesn't need any more bad press, and hammering Bama for a coach helping out a kid whose car was broken into is bad PR.

I bet they'll let it go with a suspension... and I'm getting more confident that HaHa will be back for the first game we need him: November 9th.

    Elephant gonna skate....

I understand. Dan Mullen is trying to keep the team from a losing record this weekend, I believe we're gonna float, or keep our heads above water, with a win.

    Yes... From TideSports:

Harris made a short-term loan to Clinton-Dix in an amount less than $500, after Clinton-Dix's car was broken into on the night of June 25 or the morning of June 26. TideSports.com has obtained the police report filed by Clinton-Dix after the break-in, detailing the theft of money, an iPad, a backpack and sandals - both embroidered with Clinton-Dix's jersey number (No. 6) - stereo speaker sub-woofers, miscellaneous shirts and Nike Air Jordan shoes.

The police report states that Clinton-Dix's black and gray 2012 Dodge Charger was parked at his residence on the 4500 block of East 18th Avenue. Clinton-Dix is not identified by name on the police report due to Tuscaloosa Police Department policy not to list victims of crimes on such reports.

Clinton-Dix has provided bank records to UA athletic compliance department representatives that show a withdrawal in the amount he said he repaid to Harris

The more I read/hear about this HaHa Clinton-Dix story, the more I think he'll be back sooner than later.

Kid's car was robbed the night before he planned to drive home (to FL) for the last time during the summer... He got in touch w/ the only coach he could find and ended up borrowing "less than" $500 from the coach. He paid it back.

I still can't defend the coach not reporting it immediately... But once OTHERS were made aware of the violation, it was reported to the NCAA and Alabama has been cooperating ever since.

I really don't see anything coming of this.

By the end of the game I felt bad for the ISU. Fans. I was actually getting angry for them.

If next week isn't the nail in the coffin I don't know how much more I can take.
I watch every game to the final but for my health I may need to walk away at some point. The red river rape is going to be bad this year.
Ou fans I know aren't even giving me shit any more. Nothing worse in the world than
    Sooner sympathy.

it's gotta suck. Texas was a big fuckin deal and then "BOOM" all went to shit.

Gotta be tough going thru that.

I'm on the opposite end - went thru decades of plain old shit then to the top 25.

And getting sympathy from Ou fans......:puke: THAT SUCKS!

The only OU fan that I know is usually a raging dickhead but even now he has stopped talking shit. Feels terrible.

On the other hand, Bob Stoops (who has made his career raping Texas and making Mack Brown his bitch) is dancing his happy dance again and will probably show up to the game drunk knowing that he doesn't even have to coach. His team will take care of it.

I'm holding out hope that by the end of the season, forty acres is going to be a smoldering ruin and Mack will be gone. It's terrible to say I know, but if we want to be where we once were if not better we have to start from scratch.

It hurts bro. It hurts. What adds insult to injury is the stubborn refusal of the university and big cigars to make the changes necessary to improve the program.

Rebuilding will be a monster project for next coach to step in.

In other news - USuCk is entertaining Tedford?

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
That would be a lateral step for them coming from Kiffin. No win move. They need to find a powerhouse coach.

Chow was a huge coach for them back in the Carroll days, so I am not sure if they would entertain bringing him back. Maybe they could pull a decent NFL coach out of their asses?
