2013 NCAA Football Thread

Did you read Chizik's rant the other day saying the NCAA investigation into Auburn about Cam wasn't logical? Why would Cecil attempt to sell his son's talent to MSU and not sell his son to Auburn? Gene needs to learn what logic means.

 

Spring game tomorrow... Stoked.

 

Even got new unis for spring game that troops get after the game.

 

Damn game is only on the pac12 network...

 

I'm not the kind of person who sits and watches the NFL draft from beginning to end... but some of the stats I've seen have been pretty impressive...

• SEC had 63 players taken... The most ever for the SEC.
• The conference w/ the next most was the ACC with 31. The difference b/w the SEC and ACC was the largest gap b/w the #1 and #2 conferences ever.
• This was the 7th straight year the SEC had the most draft picks. (Where else have I heard 7 in a row for the SEC? Hmmmmmmm.....)
• Alabama, La State, Florida and Georgia together had 32 players drafted. More than any other conference.
• Almost 1 of every 4 players drafted came from the SEC (24.8%) and 33 of the first 99 picks were SEC players (33%)

I know there are a few SEC haters lurking around... Would love to hear some opinions..

If the SEC changes it's name, it should seriously consider The NFL Development League.

 

^i noticed that too. We had 5 drafted. FSU had a lot of players drafted as well, makes me wonder why they are not better then they are.

 

I think FSU had more players than any school. Looks like Jimbo can get the talen down there, but can't win with it...
