    Typical of Georgia based teams. It sucks being a sports fan and being loyal to your home teams when you are a Georgian. We almost always fall just short. I used to say that my Dawgs were the exception to this that Richt was going to bring us a championship. After that game I realized different.

    Fate is so cruel to us. :(

    I was gonna get on here and post this. The SEC East by itself had more players drafted than any other conference (32). The West had 31, which tied the ACC. Those 63 picks covered 13 different positions (linebacker led the way with 10).

    FSU had 11 players drafted, followed by Bama and LSU with 9, Georgia and Florida with 8.

    I believe the SEC had 32 players drafted in the first 3 rounds, again, more than any other conference had the entire draft.

    With 12 first rounders this year, that gives the SEC 63 first round picks in the last 7 drafts (7 drafts, 7 championships...funny how that plays out). 63 first rounders is good for a 26 pick lead over 2nd place...the Big 12.
