You guys should do well with him. If Louisville can win, Texas should be able to dominate in a few years.

This. If he can win with the recruits he got at Louisville, he should be able to get great recruiting classes at Texas and the Longhorns should be scary in a couple years. Give him 2-3 years with his own recruits and you'll be back in the top 5 consistently, I think.

37 players on the roster are from Florida. That won't be the case in tx.

No...he'll get Texas recruits. You know...Texas...where a high school football game had over 54,000 attendees. I think he'll be OK with some Texas recruits. Along with the fact that he'll still be able to get Florida and Georgia kids because he's at Texas...

If he can get a Florida kid to go to Louisville, I'm sure he can talk a couple of them into going to Texas.

You don't think he'll be able to get better recruiting classes at a major school like Texas than at Louisville? Come on man, I know you're a criminole fan, but you've gotta be smarter than that. If I were a kid and had a free ride to Louisville or a free ride to Texas, I'd choose to be a Longhorn. I gotta think a lot more kids would think the same thing.

You are a kid, that is if your correct age is on display. Texas has 1 "kid" from Florida on their roster and none from ga. Why do you care anyway? You guys have way more to worry about at ga.

Mack brown was a bad half of a game from winning the big XII with case McCoy at qb.
I don't think it will take strong 2-3 years to straighten this shit out.
As far as the Florida recruits...I think he will be able to get better recruits out of Florida with the longhorn on his chest than he got at Louisville.

    I agree with this.

Makes me think what could we do with a Strong? A coach that has proven themselves at a smaller school that is. I like Richt but I'm ready to take it to the next level and I'm growing less and less to believe Richt will get us there. I know a lot of my UGA friends/co workers feel the same as me that we'll have times of greatness under him but he won't get us to the next level.

This isn't meant to bash Richt, I think he's a good coach, just not enough to bring a NC. It's just that others have asked me "who would we get?" And Strong is a prime example. This is not to say run out and fire Richt, just that when there is a very good prospect out there that we could land then it would be time. Discuss.
