I won't go as far to say we will beat them since we lost so much on D and being our first game and on the road in a tough environment, but if we do lose that one there's no way in hell it would be a beat down. Do they realize how strong our offense should be? I would say if we were to lose it would be in a shoot out.

Oh those guys seem to think that they will be able to shut down our running game...seems that they are world beaters now because they are talking undefeated season...it is highly entertaining reading if you can navigate what has to be the worst site have ever seen. But I was banned and didn't even last a day...

I'm sure I'd be banned pretty quick also. :D At least from what you're describing.

I have no idea...I just tried to argue rationally with facts...:drevil:

I don't know if the thread is still up, but anther UGA fan posted the offensive stats comparing our teams and they called him a liar...all because our numbers were better.

I'm not confident enough yet to go ahead and predict a W. I do think it'll be a good game, though. I can see it playing out like the UGA/UT game last year. First game of the year, big game, even after the SEC/NCG, I can't give Murray the nod of a big game player...

Our offense SHOULD be explosive...but You can't ever tell what Bobo will do, and Murray could lay an egg. If we can get Gurshall goin early and often and limit their offensive snaps, not let them run 90-100 plays like they did to LSU, we should be OK.

I am more confident in our young defense after the spring, though. They'll make a few mistakes, but I'm ready to see the Mathews kid lay the lumber to someone.

Yeah I would feel much better about it if I had more confidence in Murray.

To me Murray has proven himself...he has/will break all of the SEC records w/ the exception of Greene's 42 wins - which he could tie but not break. I know you aren't a fan of Bobo, but damn his schemes have put up some really gaudy numbers. I think we need to do like SC did last year and control the clock - meaning more running. I think that Gurley and Marshal will be just fine...well not if we are to believe the taters! :D

As far as our D, I think we may be pleasantly surprised - have been reading a lot of good stuff and comments from them. Seems that they are a hungry bunch and want to GATA... As far as Matthews goes, I think the taters players are going to in for a not so pleasant surprise...

I think that's what the web page is for. If they have enough viewers in a certain area it will come standard otherwise it will be extra.

I hope so, because I don't want even more added to a high enough bill already.

From my understanding they are projecting the channel to be standard in all of the SEC states and a add on channel everywhere else. Of course projections and reality are two different things.

According to this article, the SEC network is a partnership with ESPN that will be televised Nation wide instead of regional. It also mentions that.....The SEC signed a 15-year deal with CBS in 2008. CBS will still have the first choice of SEC football games.

So between CBS, all ESPN channels & this new SEC network we "should" see more SEC games covered live on Sat.( unlike the Texas network that is blacked out for many people ). With a lot of SEC schools ranked in the top 10 each season, this should give more of them a better chance to be on TV.
