    Wait..................so you're a UGA fan? :D

That seems to be us most years, tons of potential, and yet knowing we will likely falter somewhere down the line also.

Four unnamed Vanderbilt players have been dismissed from the team.

The university released a statement Friday, saying four players were suspended from the team for a ‘violation of team rules’.

Vanderbilt University today announced that four members of its football team were suspended earlier this week for violation of team rules. As additional facts become known, Vanderbilt will take further action, if and as warranted.

Because of Vanderbilt’s ongoing investigation, the university will offer further comment when appropriate.

The Tennessean reported Friday that the suspensions were in fact related to an ongoing sex crimes investigation.

“I can confirm that the Metropolitan Police Department’s Sex Crimes Unit began an investigation on Wednesday in regard to a matter that was alleged to have occurred at a Vanderbilt University dormitory,” said Don Aaron, spokesman for Metro police. “Our sex crimes detectives became involved as the result of a notification to us on Wednesday from Vanderbilt University police. The investigation remains very much in progress.”

Nashville News 2 reported Saturday morning the four players have been dismissed from the team for a violation of team rules. The four former players have been placed on interim suspension from the university and may not return to campus without explicit permission.

We’ll update when new information is released.

Can't stand McCarron of especially Manziel. Good to see there are still some class act QB's left in the SEC

Grant Van Aman, a Florida Gators’ Walk-On Redshirt Freshman Punter, Arrested for DUI on Scooter Early Saturday

Grant Van Aman is a walk-on redshirt freshman punter at the University of Florida. Early Saturday morning, Van Aman ran a stop sign on his scooter right in front of a Gainesville cop who was preparing to pull into the intersection. Van Aman swerved and almost dropped the scooter, steadied the bike and pulled out his cell phone. The officer turned on his lights and followed Van Aman into a UF parking garage.

From there, Van Aman provided his driver’s license to one officer and told another officer he didn’t have a license on him. Van Aman, who will be 20 in September, admitted to drinking, then changed his answer. Then he admitted to being at Fat Daddy’s Bar, but denied drinking there. He refused multiple sobriety tests, explained that he was a criminal justice major, didn’t know his address and had never been to Gainesville before. He was then taken to Alachua County Jail where he refused two breath tests. He was booked around 4:30am.
