Is anybody experiencing poor call quality since upgrading to 6.0 or above on their Android? My phone is a Verizon Samsung GS6 Edge.

Ever since the upgrade, my call quality has been shat! It breaks up so bad, that you usually cant even tell what the hell the other person is saying. It usually doesnt effect my music streaming through bluetooth, which seems weird to me. It was all flawless, prior to my phone updating.

I've searched and searched and havent been able to find anything on it.

I have the non-entune touchscreen model. Does anyone know if they have firmware updates for these? I know the do for the Entune models, but havent seen anything for the standard touchscreen.

Hey Zack. I have the Galaxy S6 with the Android version 6.0.1. Not an Edge though. So far no problems with call quality. Verizon is my carrier. I believe my system is the non-etune touchscreen model as well. Good luck.

I think i may have narrowed it down some. I reset the radio back to defaults and then made my phone forget the connection. I then reconnected it all back. It was better for awhile and then started breaking up again more this morning.

On a whim, i removed my case. It has a little bit of metal in the back of it, for the magnetic dash mount i use. That seemed to improve it even more. I am going to drive around at lunch and talk to people with and without the case to see what i get. I'll report back.

Thanks for the responses guys, helps narrow it down.

So i'm about 90% sure that its the magnetic dash mount and not the metal in the case. I can remove it from the dash mount when i get a call that starts to break up and it then clears up. Whats weird, it doesnt seem to affect my streaming media really at all, just the calls.

    Just future fyi for anyone.
