2013 SB DBL Cab, TRD Sport 4x4, auto. V6 Tow package. Plus rubber weather mats and sill protector MSRP 32,475. Paid 30,275 plus ttl, doc and reg fees. Portland, Oregon. No sales tax. I'm ok with that. Tried to sell me a third party (Zurich) extended warranty for 2400, 10yr/100,000. Screw that. Will shop around for authentic extended Toyota warranty when I near the end of 36 months. I plan to keep my truck for 10 years. I still own my original 1980 Toyota 4wd. Paid 6,900 new. Best vehicle I've ever owned. Hopefully this new one will be just as reliable.

I got a quote on line for emplyee pricing for 13 dbl cab, TRD Sport, JBL, tow pkg., auto trans. $26, 270 before trade + TTL. The quote shows this is $3400 below invoice. Invoice is $29,965.00 Looks like a hell of a deal if i can get a decent trade for my 09 dbl cab TRD Sport. Dealer will get the color i want. Any thoughts?

Here is what i can get it for thru USAA.com's buying service. Most all web sites are similar in price. My daugher in law works for the dealership, so i should get this price. Not sure if they will give me a good trade in or not. They will make money on my 09 as i only found one in my area equipped like mine, one owner & 28,000 mil.

Well been shopping. Got the financing done with the credit union.

2013 Taco, DB, LB, 4X4, TRD Sport, tow package with out Nav. MSRP $33080

Quote sent via email $30998.00 which includes all the fees. (not Tax and Lic)

I dont think it is anything special. Going to try to get at least another $1000.00 off. I think if I can pay under MSRP including fees and taxes and lic it would be good.

No way! Do not believe you (not that it means anything to you if I did) but $3400.00 under invoice. No way no how.

I can see the invoice of the $29,965.00 since it is not 4X4. but $3400.00 under invoice no way. Unless there is something else you are not telling us. Your the dealership's owner's son something like that.

I have been shopping for about 2 months. I have checked with quotes from 7 different dealers they are all between $500 and $1000 difference of each other. The most was $300 under invoice. which put it at $30998.00.

Now I understand that the invoice that they show you (us or me) is not what the dealer paid for the car. They paid way less. But this invoice thing is what dealer's stick with.

IF YOU CAN GET THAT PRICE $3400.00 UNDER INVOICE, BUY IT ! THAT'S A GREAT DEAL.

I got a 2003 Tundra at Toyota of Midland new w/o 4wd. Took me until a month ago to correct that mistake. Now I'm in Dallas and I don't use the 4wd every day, but I like knowing that it's there. Now I don't have to think about what vehicle I'm taking to go skiing, etc. Besides, the Tacoma is a way better vehicle than that Tundra.

I have been quoted $33340 for a '13 DCLB 4x4, tow package, Navigation + $1k plus of additional options. This is without taxes or dealer fees (I won't have to pay taxes and the dealer doesn't charge doc fees or anything else). I will also get the $500 Military Cash Rebate for a price of $32840 true out the door price. Invoice shows $33,935. Toyota shows an MSRP of $35,957.

Should I bite the bullet and go for it? Also, I am getting a pretty fair trade-in on my vehicle.

(Looking at the actual paperwork for this truck, the invoice is $34,325.25, MSRP $36,431)

I went to another dealer, they would not touch it. They said something is not right. I've emailed the Sales Mgr. back to verify the price. The other dealer said that's $700 less than he could buy it for himself. I'll update this post once i know more.

This other dealer quoted me a little over $29, 900.00 & 20,500 trade in. All web sites are saying my trade should be about $21,500. Sales rep thought he had a sale, ready to order the truck. I said Thanks but No Thanks & walked out. 1st trade in was $18,000.00. Still want to hear back from 1st dealer.
