you can do better. Shoot for 10% off MSRP. Go to Edmunds and get true market pricing. Don't get in a hurry and do not appear too anxious to buy. It worked well for me.

    2013 Tacoma - Access Cab - TRD Off-Road
I just purchased a 2013 Access Cab, TRD Off-Road, Tow Package, with All-Weather Mats. I used the recent college graduate $1,000 rebate and negotiated the price to $29,500.

Of course, TTL was additional, but that information is worthless here. The actual negotiated price is all that matters.

I special ordered the truck and it took one month to arrive.

you can get the dealer down about $1000 off the price of a new truck, but not much more. And don't tell them you have a trade until after you agree to a price.

    2013 Double Cab TRD OR w/ Entune/Nav

    $32,500 + TTL

We could have got the $500 recent grad rebate since my wife is a recent grad, but you needed to finance thru Toyota. I am happy with the price, although I'm not impressed with the Entune and not sure its worth the extra $$ but I do like the Nav.

Good advice on never mentioning a trade until after you've negotiated the price, but you can negotiate a lot more then $1,000 off the asking price. It all depends on supply and demand, and the dealer's need to move vehicles off the lot.

I just managed to get, what I think, is a great deal on a 2013 DCSB TRD Offroad with tow package and all-weather mats for $28,830. I was lucky enough to find a vehicle through cars.com that was heavily discounted due to being on the lot for over 110 days. I initially tried to get some of the other dealers in the area to beat or price match to save me a bit of a drive and they couldn't come close. All in all I am quite pleased and excited to be a part of this community.

Also even if the dealer doesn't make anything on the new vehicle, they will get dealer incentives from Toyota just for selling it.

I have talked to several dealers lately regarding price. They both found the exact same truck I think! The dealer that works with Costco gave me the best price. Your thoughts before I pull the trigger please!

That's $200 less than I paid for the TRD OR with Nav, no tint, no mats.

First post here, long time reader, and hopefully soon to be owner.

I've been working with a few dealers around the state (Oregon) for the past 3 weeks. Haven't pulled the trigger yet but I'm thinking this is a good offer finally??

    2013
    DCSB
    4x4
    TRD off road
    Tow Package
    Touchscreen (non entune)

Their offer $30,300 (Invoice is somewhere around $30,999)

Should I do it or go for more... I feel like below invoice is already a good deal.

Wasn't bad. It was close to Toyota employee pricing. Invoice minus dealer regional adverstising, etc charges. Dealer still gets 2% holdback.
