    Thanks Dave.

Now that is one nice looking Taco. I have decided I am going with the RBP RX-3 nerf bars (matte black), Borla cat back exhaust, hood bug shield, rain guard, 63 series K&N CAI, tint the widows, plastidip the wheels and a Pace Edwards Jack Rabbit cover. That will put me just under the 2.5K mark. I wanted the TRD Supercharger but that will have to wait for a bit.

I test drove a Sport model today in Clarksville TN, It was ok, just felt a little spongy, but I am thinking that the Offroad will be about the same ride quality. I just wanted to see if I was too big for it (6' 245 lbs) but I fit fine it. I did realize that I will need to replace the sub and the amp, it wasn't impressive for a "UPGRADED SOUND SYSTEM"

I am visiting family in Clarksville TN and stopped in the local Toyota dealer (Wyatt Johnson, I think) today just to look around. I am moving the Denver so I ordered my NBM this past weekend and picking it up on 8th July in Denver. They gave me the TACO TRD Offroad for 31600 out the door for one that has the JBL system and NAV system. The guys here said they could beat that deal (they had about 10 trucks on the lot). Of course I didn't sit down and work all the numbers since I couldn't buy here anyways. It might be worth it since it is a short drive and working with the different dealers might help get a better deal. I know that it is that time where they want to move inventory. Also, new rebates come out the 9th of July.

I contacted Wyatt today while I was on lunch. They didn't have the truck I want in stock but they are looking around to find one for me. Thanks for letting me know about them.

Local dealership has offered $30,295 before TTL for a new 2013 TRD OR DblCab. It's mighty tempting ...

Is this too good to be true? 22,000 +TTL for prerunner access 4cyl with alloy wheels carpet &door sill and sr5 package. The best price I had gotten before that was 22,899 which I thought was great.

The 22,000 is from dch Torrance here in socal and they have mixed reviews online. The 22,899 was from Carson Toyota.

Dealer cannot get what I want bc the truck is 600 miles away and their limit is 500 miles. Oh well. I am having them price a white truck with the same features for me.
Depending on what their offer is a might just go back to the other dealer with the black truck. Jux I'd be all over that deal. The best so far I can get the dealer at is
    $32k. I offered him $30,800.

entune MSRPs for about $1800 so the deals are pretty close. I would shoot for 10% off MSRP. Go to Edmunds and spec it out. We are real close to end of the month so if you can hold off a few days you might work it down a little further. I do not think entune is worth the extra myself.

Just for grins I sent a local dealer a offer of $34 on a Baja that stickered at $38.3. I was just testing the waters. I got emails and phone calls from 3 people at dealership. No confirmation of offer or counters. One dude said it was a $39k truck. I responded with why then $38.3 k MSRP. Did get one call back after I bought a different one. Last time I checked they still had the truck. I talked to 6 dealers when I was buying.

New to the madness....I paid $30,000. Sticker was $33,066 for a 2013 DCSB TRD OR. A dealer in Sacramento was advertising $29,900 I asked a local dealer to match the price. Not a problem. In the end I financed it for just over $27K

This seems like a great price to me. You're $2000 less than me, and you got a sport and more.

Just emailed all the dealers I called to see what they could find out about beating the $32k price. One dealer said there was no way they could match that price because they were in a different region. I never heard of the prices differ for different regions. The dealer that said they couldn't beat the price was in Knoxville. The dealer with the $32k is located in atlanta. Has anyone ever heard of this. I work for vw and as far as I know the invoice and shipping doesn't change for different parts of the country. It costs the same if we ship to Nashville (130 miles away) or if the ship to Los Angeles.

Probably not shipping but could be distributor add ons. Gulf States can add on $500 in a heart beat. Maybe even dealer fees or kickbacks.

I paid $14.00 for a consumer reports pricing report. With that report you also get several dealers prices that they'll agree to sell it for. I took the lowest price out of the three quotes to my closest dealer and they (reluctantly) met the price.
