Great site.....been lurking since we decided to finally buy our family van :)

    So here's our specs

2013 4x4 Trd off road extra value package
Double cab short bed automatic in Pyrite Mica

    Truck $29604.70
    Tax $2353.57
    Doc $448.49
    Reg $593.24
    Total $33000

Chrome tube steps added in for free since they sold the truck we were buying the same day after I made my deposit. Fuming:mad: Now have to wait a few days before a new one comes in. Has that happened to anyone? Thoughts on the deal???

Price looks about average... But I think they hit you pretty hard on the doc fee... BUT you got free tube steps! Did it come with towing pkg?

First time Tacoma owner. Bought one on 7/31 since I needed a car for myself. Might as well get a truck just in case anyone needs to carry large stuff and my parents swear by Toyota.

I wasn't looking for anything extravagant and just wanted to get from point A to point B (on a college budget). But it must be an access cab (double cab is too expensive for me) for the back seat in case I need to drive my little brothers.

Bought a new 2013 Super White Tacoma, 4 cyl, 2 wheel drive, automatic transmission, access cab, with no extra options (the only option this truck had was special floor mats). Other then that all the standards of power windows and such.

MSRP was 22,500 USD but negotiated my way down to 19,600 USD out the door price (included taxes, paper work fees, etc.).

So....did I get a good deal or should I be having buyer's remorse and cry in a corner over sunk cost?

    Thanks Crodliner for the welcome.

Yes, it includes the towing package. It's $1800 under invoice which is a smoking deal from hat I'm told. Looks like we're paying a fortune compared to most on here.

You Americans have it made! We seem to pay a lot more up North. I just bought a 2013 TRD Sport DCLB. Has pretty much all options except Nav and leather and a few other small things. $37k, before taxes! With all the taxes levies and PDI and freight it was just hitting $41k out the door.

    2014 Access Cab Offroad
Hi, I am wanting a 2013 V6 Manual, Access Cab, TRD Off Road.
Since this is really specific it's looking like I am going to have to order it. I've never bought from a dealer before. Are there normally extra charges when ordering one? Also, it's near the end of the season, if I ordered now would I be forced to get a 2014 model instead, and if so, how much more would you estimate next year's models would cost?

If I'm able to order a 2013, has anyone gotten a similar setup for 30k or under?

Edit: I ended up talking to another dealer today. Both priced the model I want at 31,010. I'm not sure if I will be able to get it for less. Both guys I talked to used basically the same line that Toyota knows what they can move.

Any luck with your negotiations? I'm looking at a similar setup trying to figure out what I can get it for.

I just bought my first Tacoma, a 2013 Tacoma TRD T|X Baja in White with the Nav/Entune JBL package. Window sticker was $39,525. Negotiated down to $37,325. So $2,200 off of sticker. Not sure what invoice is, but given that this is a limited edition, and it was the white model, I felt pretty good about the negotiation.

They also were pretty fair with me on my trade it. I got about $2,500 less than I would have gotten had I tried to sell it private party on CL.

I bought my truck from Peterson Toyota in Boise, ID.

Bought it 3 days ago, just after getting home from the dealer:

As it sits this evening with topper and nerf bars:

I don't know if I got a GREAT deal, but I walked away satisfied. I paid $29,500 for a '13 TRD Sport Access Cab w/ Tow, 4x4, 6 speed, and I'm very happy. This is my dream truck.

I have a set of weathertec floormats and wet okole seat covers on the way as well.

I had a 2009 4x4 regular cab base model before, and I am so happy that this one has lower tie downs in the front of the bed. That was one of my biggest pet peeves about the 2009.

@John1701....Sorry bud, We are not making any 2013's any more as this late in the year the 2014's will start hitting the lots. If you can't get what you're looking for at the dealers you may have to order a 14...The prices don't typically fluctuate that much from year to year but the late year incentives help. Try to find a 13 to get a better deal...or order a 14 and have one of the first ones! Happy hunting!

Went to the dealership on Memorial Day and they had this truck as a "scratch and dent". MSRP on vehicle was 33,500 they reduced it down to 30,900. After some dickering around and my trade in my final price with taxes and everything else was 26,500...

Not too bad for a 2013 with the JBL/NAV system, TRD Sport package, Towing package, Legal Tint on driver and passenger doors and Clear Paint protection - Door package and Connectivity package. And also Toyoguard Protection with VIN Etching on all glass.....
