2013 radio problems

On my 2013, my unit has a difficult time reading the usb at random times, it locks up often and reboots when playing various mp3's. Very hard to duplicate seeing that it does it on different songs and not always on the same song. Very frustrating

 

My 13 has been having the same issues. It started by just randomly going into night mode or day mode on its own. Now the radio has gone completely white but still connects to my phone automatically. It seems as though the functionality of the radio is fine but the actually display is having issues.

 

I just made a complaint with the federal trade commission after actually talking about this issue with Toyota and them telling me there is nothing that they can do about the radio that it doesn’t fit criteria of recall and no complaints about it. The federal trade commission told me if there is enough complaints it would be looked into

 

My 2013 Tacoma’s radio had problems with the Bluetooth connection after it was three years old. The realer had the eado replaced under warranty. Two years later and one month past the extended 5 year warranty the display failed while driving. Very dull display ever since and almost non readable. Yesterday after two years, the display just popped up brightly but with more blue colour. I was delighted but the display went away again after the vehicle was restarted. Not happy again! Toyota radios are crap! Great vehicles but with cheap accessories. Unfortunate.

 

My 2013 radio lights up but no sound out of the speakers. When it started this it eventually started working but has not had any sound in months. Has anyone had this issue?

 

Mine did some similar in the middle of last year. Mine would change the radio preset now the screen is unresponsive. I can see what station is playing but can not chance the radio presets
