I have the 2013 Tacoma 4x4 V6 SR5 Access cab model. I looked online and my manual for info regarding the type of rims I have. So far it appears they are steel but then I read where they could be aluminum (if equipped). A magnet doesn't attach to the outside of my rims so I assume mine are aluminum. Would they maybe be steel rims coated with aluminum or something? I'm not totally sure since most reading everywhere says they are steel. Also, would they be clear coated? How can I tell?

Here's some info that may help, but i think steel wheels were standard on your truck.
